Autism care

Kids with autism don’t need a cure — they need care
You know your child better than anyone. Whether you’re noticing early signs of autism or your child already has a diagnosis, what matters most right now is finding the right support — not someday, but today.
Autism is a spectrum — it doesn’t look the same for every child. That’s why understanding what’s really going on can feel overwhelming. But it doesn’t have to be.
If you've been noticing behaviors that seem outside the norm, trust your instincts. An evaluation may be a helpful next step, especially if your child:
Avoids eye contact or prefers playing alone
Struggles to understand how others feel
Has trouble with social cues or making friends
Gets upset by even small changes in routine
Has delayed or no speech, or repeats phrases (echolalia)
Shows repetitive behaviors like flapping, spinning, or rocking
Reacts intensely to lights, sounds, textures, or smells
Seems withdrawn, easily irritated, or unusually anxious
Has sleep or eating issues, or can’t focus
These signs don’t define your child — but they can be clues to what’s going on underneath. And when you get answers, you get power: the power to take action.
What support looks like at Brightline
Understanding your child starts with a thorough, expert-led diagnostic evaluation. We look at your child’s developmental history, behaviors, communication, and social interactions — through clinical interviews with you and, when possible, your child.
If needed, we use evidence-based tools like the ADOS-2, a gold-standard assessment that gives us deeper insight into how your child interacts, communicates, and plays. Some kids may also benefit from additional psychological testing to round out the picture.
Bottom line? You’ll walk away with real answers — and a clear plan.
Therapy that meets you where you are
Autism doesn’t need fixing. It needs understanding — and the right kind of care.
At Brightline, we don’t treat autism like a problem to solve. Instead, we help your child (and you) navigate some of the challenges that can come along with autism, such as anxiety, attention issues, sensory sensitivities, picky eating, and social struggles.
Here’s how we help:
Organizational Skills Training (OST):
For kids who struggle with executive functioning, planning, and school-related tasks.Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills:
Helps kids build emotional regulation, manage stress, and improve social relationships.Behavioral Parent Management Training (PMT):
Gives you the tools to support your child at home — from managing behaviors to building life skills.
Autism isn’t something to “fix.” It’s something to understand. Your child deserves care that sees them — not just their symptoms. And you deserve a team that’s got your back, every step of the way.
At Brightline, we’re here to help your child feel supported — not reshaped. And we’re here to help you feel confident, capable, and connected in the process.
Whether you’re just starting to ask questions or already have a diagnosis in hand, Brightline can help you take the next right step — today.
