What experience do you have working with families?

I have worked with families both in the clinical and school settings. Within the school settings, I involved families in the status of the social emotional treatment goals of their child. Within the clinical setting, I involved parents in ways they can support their child's clinical treatment.

What inspired you to become a therapist?

I was inspired to become a psychologist because I am passionate about helping clients transform their relationship with their emotions and challenging experiences in a healthy and grounded in order to help them live fulfilling lives.

What are your strengths?

My strengths as a therapist are curiosity, rapport-building, compassion and dedication.

What else would you like families to know about you?

I have also been trained as a special educator which has made me very thoughtful and mindful of teaching clinical content in a way that is interesting and engaging for children and adolescents.

Diagnostic evaluations, generalized outpatient therapy and psychiatry, and our Anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and Disruptive Behaviors Program sessions can all be held in person at our Brooklyn clinic or virtually, based on family preference and clinical recommendation. Psychological testing must be held in person at our Brooklyn clinic; follow-up sessions can be held in person or virtually. Your child’s therapist will work with you to find the balance that is right for your family and the goals you have for your child.
