Q&A with Ramya Chunduri

What experience do you have working with families?

I have worked with children and families in hospitals (OB, pediatric cardiology, and pediatric oncology) and in private practice/telehealth specifically regarding OCD, behavior concerns, and ADHD.

What inspired you to become a therapist?

Growing up, I noticed a lack of representation/cultural awareness . As I grew up dealing with life's struggles alone, I later realized that I wanted to bear witness to life's hardest moments and walk with others in their respective journeys.

What are your strengths?

Listening, rapport-building, necessary humor in sessions, and identifying common ground in order to start the healing/therapeutic process.

What else would you like families to know about you?

I've been a caregiver from a very young age (middle school) and it made me who I am and brought me to this career path.
