Q&A with Dr. Ryszewska
What experience do you have working with families?
I have spent over a decade working with families in different settings and levels of care: schools, outpatient clinics, private practice, inpatient units, and psychiatric emergency rooms. I have experience conducting psychodiagnostic assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, skills training, and parent coaching.
What inspired you to become a therapist?
I knew I always wanted to work with children and families in some capacity - I am a strong advocate of early intervention and want children and families to have the necessary coping skills to navigate life effectively as it can, and does, change the trajectory of their lives.
What are your strengths?
I am warm, curious, supportive, non-judgmental, collaborative, and clear and direct in my communication.
What else would you like families to know about you?
I look forward to working with your family and meeting our goals together!
